Blackstone-backed BME, a building materials store in the Netherlands, completed the acquisition of Detering Group, a specialist wholesaler with a full range in the areas of plumbing, heating and tools. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The acquisition of the Detering Group presents a significant step in our journey to become the leading builder merchant in Europe.
