Synopsis
Colowide, which owns multiple restaurant chains in Japan, completed the acquisition of a 27.84% stake in Ootoya, which operates eateries specialising in traditional Japanese food, for $66m. Colowide now owns a 47% stake of Ootoya, and has enough control of the company to install its own slate of directors at a shareholders meeting, having failed in a bid to do so earlier this year.
