Powerhouse Energy Group completed the acquisition of Waste2Tricity for £53m.

Synopsis

Powerhouse Energy Group, a developer of a proprietary process technology that converts non-recyclable waste plastic into clean synthetic gas, completed the acquisition of Waste2Tricity, a waste-to-energy firm, for £53m ($70m). "We are delighted with the result of the General Meeting and most grateful for the support we have received from shareholders in relation to the acquisition of Waste2Tricity. This is a transformational time for Powerhouse as we look forward to the construction of the first commercial DMG plant and the enactment of a UK exclusivity agreement with Peel," Cameron Davies, Powerhouse Chairman.
