Prasarana and SMRT to create the RTS Operations joint venture.

Prasarana, a Malaysia’s public transportation provider, and SMRT, a Singapore’s rail operator, are set to create the RTS Operations joint venture, which will design, build, and finance the Rapid Transit System Link operating assets including trains, tracks and systems. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The RTS Link is a significant milestone that will bring the people, cultures and societies on both sides of the Causeway closer. It will enhance cross-border connectivity for millions of commuters for decades to come,” Seah Moon Ming, SMRT Chairman.
