iCON Infrastructure to acquire a 49% stake in Green Recovery Projects from Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas for £198m.

iCON Infrastructure, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire a 49% stake in Green Recovery Projects, an operator of 5 energy recovery plants, from Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, a construction company, for £198m. The incorporation of ICON into GRP will strengthen FCC's leading position in the waste recovery activity in the United Kingdom and the development of new treatment plants, essential to meet the challenge of the ecological transition and the promotion of the circular economy.
