Synopsis

Edit

Biogroup-LCD, a provider of laboratory services, agreed to acquire CMA-Medina to Biogroup-LCD, an operator of medical diagnostic laboratories, from Straco. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The merger with CMA-Medina is a key step in the development of Biogroup. We are particularly proud to to become a leading European player on this occasion. I look forward to working with CMA-Medina's teams and Straco's management to continue the successful development they have achieved in Belgium and now in Europe. The health crisis related to the Covid-19 has enabled us to work together to optimise our mutual capacities for our public health role," Stéphane Eimer, Biogroup Chairman.
