AGL Energy completed the acquisition of Click Energy Group for $85m.

AGL Energy, an Australia's energy company, completed the acquisition of Click Energy Group, a seller of electricity to retail customers, from amaysim Australia, an Australian provider of mobile phone plans, for $85m. The transaction does not include amaysim’s mobile customer base or business. “We have continued to grow and transform our business by digitising our customer experience and offering more choice and flexibility on our products. This acquisition aligns with our growth strategy and builds on our recent acquisitions of Perth Energy and Southern Phone. Click Energy has built a successful retail energy business with more than 215k customer services across NSW, Victoria, QLD and South Australia," Brett Redman, AGL CEO.
