Insight Partners-backed Episerver to acquire Optimizely.

Insight Partners-backed Episerver, a software company, agreed to acquire Optimizely, a provider of progressive delivery and experimentation software. Financial terms were not disclosed. Subject to customary closing conditions and attainment of regulatory clearances, the acquisition is expected to close in Q4 of 2020. “Episerver and Optimizely have a shared vision to optimize every customer touchpoint through the use of experimentation.
