Provision Analytics completed the acquisition of Crop Boss from Platinum Agricultural Solutions.

Provision Analytics, a Calgary-based food safety software startup, completed its acquisition of Crop Boss, a farm management software provider, from Platinum Agricultural Solutions for a combination of cash and equity. Following the deal, Crop Boss will be known as Provision Producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Provision Analytics was founded in 2018 and currently employs approximately 20 staff. The startup’s software automates food safety processes and links granular process data with production results, generating analytics that reduce food loss and quality deviations.
