Carlyle, Man and Stellex Capital to acquire Seci Energia from Maccaferri for €40m.

Carlyle, Man, a discretionary investment manager, and Stellex Capital, a private equity firm, to acquire Seci Energia, a designer, developer, and operator of renewable energy power plants, from Maccaferri, a family-owned multinational company, for €40m ($49m). “We hope that this can be the beginning of a relaunching process for Officine Maccaferri and we will do, as far as we are concerned, everything possible so that its industrial future remains in the Bologna area,” Maccaferri.
