IPR Energy to acquire onshore Egyptian producing oil and gas assets of Dana Gas for $236m.

IPR Energy, a group of international companies in the energy sector, agreed to acquire onshore Egyptian producing oil and gas assets of Dana Gas, a publicly traded natural gas company, for $236m. This transaction is the result of a comprehensive formal sales process initiated pursuant to a strategic review of the company’s Egyptian business, and follows engagement with a number of prospective industry buyers commencing in Q2 2019.
