Hero MotoCorp to acquire the Indian operations of Harley-Davidson.

Hero MotoCorp, the largest two-wheeler maker in India, agreed to acquire the Indian operations of Harley-Davidson, an American motorcycle manufacturer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Harley-Davidson Motor has negotiated the following commercial arrangements with Hero MotoCorp: distribution arrangement whereby Hero has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Harley-Davidson in India; and brand licensing arrangement whereby Hero has been given license to exclusively manufacture small displacement range motorcycles.
