Ahold Delhaize and Centerbridge Partners completed the acquisition of FreshDirect.

Ahold Delhaize, an operator of retail stores, and Centerbridge Partners completed the acquisition of FreshDirect, an online grocer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Ahold Delhaize acquired the majority share, and Centerbridge Partners became a minority equity investor with a 20% stake. “We are very pleased that we can now definitively welcome FreshDirect to our family of great local brands.
