Taliworks to acquire Sunedison Solar Holdings 1, Sunedison Solar Holdings 2, Sunedison Solar Holdings 3 and TerraForm Global Operating for $35m.

Taliworks, an investment holding company, agreed to acquire four solar projects Sunedison Solar Holdings 1, Sunedison Solar Holdings 2, Sunedison Solar Holdings 3 and TerraForm Global Operating for $35m. "With the Malaysian government’s target to increase the usage of renewable energy in the generation mix to 20% by 2025, we believe that the renewable energy market has promising prospects. This transaction is in line with our investment strategy to acquire mature brownfield assets with sustainable recurring income to support the dividend policy committed to our shareholders. We are also encouraged that this acquisition will be accretive to Taliworks group’s future earnings," Datuk Ronnie Lim, Taliworks Executive Director.
