Keppel Infrastructure Trust, a a growth market investor, and Metro Pacific Investments, a Philippine-based unit investment holding company, completed the acquisition of Philippine Tank Storage International Holdings from GSIS, a Philippine state insurer, Langoer Investments Holding, a Dutch-registered investment holding company, and Macquarie Infrastructure Holdings (Philippines), a holding company that serves as a vehicle for the Macquarie Group's infrastructure investments and operations in the Philippines, for $333.8m. “The strategic acquisition of PCSPC will allow KIT to diversify, grow and strengthen the resilience of KIT’s distributable cash flow. As the largest petroleum products import storage facility in the Philippines, where demand for petroleum products is expected to grow, PCSPC presents an attractive opportunity for KIT to capture opportunities arising from the strong macroeconomic outlook as well as robust growth fundamentals for imported petroleum products in the Philippinesm,” Matthew Pollard, Keppel Infrastructure Trust CEO.
