Synopsis
Trafigura, a Singaporean multinational commodity trading company, completed the acquisition of Vale New Caledonia from Vale, a Brazilian multi-metal producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. The divestment generated a $500m reserve on Vale’s consolidated financial statements.
