Rival Downhole Tools completed the acquisition of the downhole drilling technology business of Hunting for $23m.

Rival Downhole Tools, a drilling and thru tubing tools provider for the upstream oil and gas industry, completed the acquisition of the downhole drilling technology business of Hunting, an energy services provider, for $23m. "The combination of Hunting’s Drilling Tools assets with Rival creates a business with a larger operating footprint, with leading technology and products,” Jim Johnson, Hunting CEO.
