Cotecna completed the acquisition of Fitosoil Laboratorios.

Cotecna, a provider of testing, inspection and certification services, completed the acquisition of Fitosoil Laboratorios, a provider of agronomy and chemical testing on a wide range of products, with a focus on fruits and vegetables and fertilizers. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This acquisition is part of our strategy to expand our presence in the food testing market and increases our service portfolio in the broader agri-food segment. Fitosoil unique reputation and analytical skills in the fertilizer, agronomy and fruit and vegetable sectors strengthens Cotecna's offering and capabilities to support the trend for more organic and sustainable farming.
