Akkim Kimya completed the acquisition of USK Kimya for £46m.

Akkim Kimya, a subsidiary of Akkök Holding, completed the acquisition of USK Kimya, one of the carboxymethyl cellulose producers, for £46m. "With our growth-oriented investments, we aim to increase our turnover to 600 million dollars in the next 5 years. By incorporating USK Kimya, we had the opportunity to double our annual exports. We are happy that USK has joined us with its strong position in the market, high 'know-how' capability and export capacity," Onur Kipri, Akkim Kimya General Manager.
