COSCO SHIPPING Development, a financial services company, agreed to acquire a 100% stake in four container manufacturers, who are engaged in the production of dry cargo containers, from COSCO SHIPPING Investment, an investment management corporation of COSCO SHIPPING. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction involves several complex legal issues under the Takeovers Code.
