Heimstaden Bostad to acquire Moko Botanika from Marvipol Development.

Synopsis

Heimstaden Bostad, a real estate owner and developer, agreed to acquire Moko Botanika, a Warsaw residential complex, from Marvipol Development, a real estate development firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The Polish residential real estate market is becoming more and more popular among institutional investors specializing in long-term rental. The Polish market is maturing and evolving towards Western European models of the real estate market, where developers simultaneously carry out projects addressed to individual clients, purchasing apartments mainly for their own needs, and build-to-rent projects, as part of cooperation with institutional investors. The development strategy of the Marvipol Group assumes that our core business is and will continue to be the implementation of projects dedicated to individual clients. At the same time, we have been carefully analyzing business opportunities related to the evolution of the market for a long time," Grzegorz Kawecki, Marvipol Development Vice President.
