Eagle Bulk Shipping completed the acquisition of Modern Ultramax for $15m.

Eagle Bulk Shipping, a US-based fully integrated shipowner-operator engaged in the global transportation of dry bulk commodities, completed its acquisition of a high-specification 2017-built SDARI-64 scrubber-fitted Ultramax bulk carrier for $15m. The ship, which will be renamed the M/V Rotterdam Eagle, was constructed at Chengxi Shipyard and is expected to be delivered into the Company’s fleet during the second quarter of 2021.
