Synopsis

Vy Capital, a venture capital firm, led a $250m funding round in Reddit, a social sharing and aggregation website. Additional investors include Andreessen Horowitz, a venture-capital firm, and Tencent Holdings, an internet conglomerate. Additional investors includes Advance Publications and Inclusive Capital. “It’s a good market to fundraise. Valuations are very high right now. It never hurts to raise money when there’s an opportunity to do so and Reddit had a strong year," Steve Huffman, Reddit CEO.
