Qatar Investment Authority and Glade Brook Capital Partners, an alternative asset manager, led a $100m funding round in VerSe Innovation, a local language technology platform. The round was joined by Canaan Valley Capital and Sofina Group. VerSe Innovation plans to deploy this capital steadily in the continued scaling up of its ‘Made in India’ short video platform Josh.
