Digital UK completed the acquisition of Freesat from BBC and ITV.

Digital UK,a television communications company, completed the acquisition of Freesat, a free-to-air satellite television service provider, from BBC and ITV. Financial terms were not disclosed. “I’m delighted to be heading up the new entity and am very much looking forward to leading the development of free-to-view TV in the UK over the coming years.
