Francisco Partners-backed Renaissance Learning completed the acquisition of Nearpod for $650m.

Francisco Partners-backed Renaissance Learning, a software as a service and learning analytics company, completed the acquisition of Nearpod, a mobile app that enables teachers to create and share interactive multimedia presentations with their students, for $650m. With the deal, Renaissance Learning will acquire one of the region's most successful education technology startups.
