Trumpf to acquire Lantek.

Trumpf, a manufacturer of electronic components, agreed to acquire Lantek, a technology company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With this acquisition, Trumpf opens up to the customers' production ecosystems. Our goal is to improve the production process of our customers: with Lantek we comprehensively cover the sheet and metal transformation chain, including machines from different manufacturers. In this way, we are taking another big step towards efficient and connected production, and we complete the Smart Factory's offer of solutions," Tom Schneider, Trumpf General Manager of Machine Tool Development.
