Modern Times Group to acquire Ninja Kiwi for $191m.

Modern Times Group, a digital entertainment company based in Stockholm, agreed to acquire Ninja Kiwi, a tower defense mobile games developer and publisher, for $191m. "Ninja Kiwi has popularized the entire genre of tower defense games, and continues to pioneer it. Its evergreen Bloons IP and gaming platform has introduced millions to the tower defense genre, combining puzzle and strategy elements in games developed mainly for mobile platforms," Maria Redin, MTG Group President and CEO.
