BTG Pactual completed the acquisition of Banco Econômico.

BTG Pactual, a Brazilian investment bank, completed the acquisition of Banco Econômico, a Bolivian bank and financial services company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The move is part of BTG's "special situations" strategy, which is focused on turnarounds by acquiring and recovering non-performing loans and alternative financial assets.
