David Schlenter-led consortium is set to acquire Leoni Kerpen, an industrial equipment supplier in Stolberg, Germany, from Leoni, a global supplier of wires, cables and wiring systems as well as a provider of related development services. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are very pleased about the initial agreement with the potential buyers on the data communications and compound areas, which could preserve a significant number of jobs," Aldo Kamper, Leoni CEO.
