Raisio to acquire Verso Food for $9m.

Raisio, a food manufacturer, agreed to acquire Verso Food, a fava bean products manufacturer, for $9m. “Like Raisio, Verso Food targets growth in the international market. In recent years, we have invested heavily into expanding the success story of plant protein-based foods to international markets, as well. By joining forces with Raisio, we are significantly stronger and better positioned to accelerate our international expansion. Together, we are more than the sum of parts,” Tomi Järvenpää, Verso Food CEO.
