Glas Trösch to acquire the technical glass division of Berliner Glas from ASML Holding.

Glas Trösch, a family company engaged in glass industry, agreed to acquire the technical glass division of Berliner Glas, a provider of optical key components, assemblies and systems, from ASML Holding, a manufacturer of chip-making equipment. Financial terms were not disclosed. “As a part of Glas Trösch, Berliner Glas Technical Glass can benefit even better from the growth opportunities that the market is currently offering. The companies have a lot in common – above all their expertise and passion for glass as a building material. These are the best prerequisites for a joint success story," Andreas Nitze, Berliner Glas CEO.
