Hempel Group to acquire Farrow & Ball from Ares Management for £500m.

Hempel Group, a supplier of trusted coating solutions, agreed to acquire Farrow & Ball, a UK-based manufacturer and retailer of premium paint and wallpaper, from Ares Management for £500m. The transaction is expected to close later this year. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This sale culminates another successful partnership where our sponsorship helped catalyze transformational growth,” Jordan Smith, Ares Management Principal in the Private Equity Group.
