Bouygues-backed Groupe TF1, a French media holding company, terminated a $782m merger with RTL Group-backed Groupe M6, a provider of multimedia services. “The audiovisual market benefits from long term growth. On June 8, 2021, France’s anti-trust watchdog body announced that it will make a decision on the merger between TF1 and M6 till the summer of 2022. On September 16, 2022, Bouygues-backed Groupe TF1, terminated a $782m merger with RTL Group-backed Groupe M6.
