Green Investment Group-backed Cero Generation, a European solar energy company, and EDF Renewables, a renewable energy production firm, agreed to acquire a 90% stake in Green Lighthouse Development, a French agrophotovoltaic developer, from Lumani Energy, a renewable energy investment platform. Financial terms were not disclosed. “EDF Renewables is thrilled by the opportunity to invest in Green Lighthouse Development, who are ideally positioned to leverage the emerging agrivoltaic market," Nicolas Couderc, EDF Renewables Executive Vice President. On August 13, 2021, The European Commission approved the proposed majority acquisition.
