OTP Bank to acquire Nova KBM from Apollo and EBRD.

OTP Bank, one of the largest independent financial service providers in Central and Eastern Europe, agreed to acquire Nova KBM, Slovenia's second largest bank, from private equity firm Apollo and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With the acquisition of Nova KBM, we can further strengthen the already outstanding stability and profit-generating ability of OTP Group, while growing faster than all our competitors. This process will not be interrupted, we are currently examining the possibility of further acquisitions in the region," László Wolf, OTP Bank Deputy CEO.
