DPG Media and Rossel to acquire RTL Belgium from RTL Group for €250m.

Belgian media companies DPG Media and Rossel agreed to acquire RTL Belgium, the Belgian unit of RTL Group, an international media company based in Luxembourg, for €250m ($298m). "DPG Media and Groupe Rossel are strong cross-media companies that are well equipped to accelerate RTL Belgium’s digital transformation. The sale is in line with our strategy and the best strategic option for RTL Belgium, its dedicated employees and our shareholders," Elmar Heggen, RTL Group COO and Deputy CEO.
