Syngenta to acquire Verisem from Paine Schwartz Partners.

Syngenta, a global provider of agricultural science and technology, agreed to acquire Verisem, a global seed production company, from Paine Schwartz Partners, a sustainable food chain investing fund. Financial terms were not disclosed. "On behalf of everyone at Verisem, I thank Paine Schwartz for their partnership and the role they played in building Verisem into an integrated global seed company," Ibrahim El Menschawi, Verisem CEO.
