Global Power Synergy, a Thailand-based energy company, completed the acquisition of a 25% stake in a Taiwanese offshore wind farm from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, an investment firm, for $500m. "The transaction underpins the significant potential of offshore wind in Taiwan and in other Asian countries and recognizes CIP’s value add to the project during the development phase and initial construction phase," Michael Hannibal, CIP Partner.
