The Carlyle Group-backed Novolex completed the acquisition of Vegware.

The Carlyle Group-backed Novolex, a provider of diverse packaging products, completed the acquisition of Vegware, an international provider of compostable foodservice packaging headquartered in Edinburgh. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Vegware is an excellent company and its addition to Novolex is an exciting step to growing our global compostable products footprint.
