Creation Technologies to acquire a majority stake in IEC Electronics for $173.8m.

Creation Technologies, an EMS supplier, agreed to acquire a majority stake in IEC Electronics, a provider of electronic manufacturing services, for $173.8m. “A combination of IEC and Creation creates a leading medium volume, high-reliability electronics manufacturer with a customer service driven culture. Furthermore, IEC and Creation’s complementary geographic footprints create a premier full-service North American supply chain for both companies’ customers," Stephen DeFalco, Creation Chairman and CEO.
