GIC completed the acquisition of a 5.05% stake in Eventbrite, an American event management and ticketing website. Financial terms were not disclosed. Eventbrite previously stated the pandemic significantly hampered the company due to social distancing and other measures. But in 2021 the ticket sales went up thanks to more frequent small events.
