Camil Alimentos, a consumer goods company, agreed to acquire Santa Amália, a traditional and renowned pasta brand, from Alicorp, a Peruvian company that manufactures, imports, exports and distributes mass consumption products, for $49m. The completion of the Transaction is subject to the verification of precedent conditions customary to this type of transaction, including the approval of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense. Between the period of Transaction analysis by CADE, the companies will continue to be operated independently.
