Synopsis

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, a global investment management organisation, completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in CeramTec, a provider of advanced ceramic components, from invesment firms OTPP and PSP Investments for $2.1bn. CeramTec will be jointly owned by CPP Investments and BC Partners.
