UAC of Nigeria to acquire a 49% stake in UAC Foods from Tiger Brands.

UAC of Nigeria, a conglomerate company, agreed to acquire a 49% stake in UAC Foods, a food production company, from Tiger Brands, a packaged goods company. Financial terms were not disclosed. UAC, with interests in real estate, paints and livestock feed, said it will operate Tiger Brands’ food company, after the acquisition closes in September.
