Automattic completed the acquisition of Frontity.

Automattic, an operator of open-source content management systems, completed the acquisition of Frontity, a developer of a mobile website publishing platform. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Frontity Framework will continue to live on as an open source software project, available for free to everyone. As we shift our primary focus to working on WordPress and Gutenberg, we unfortunately won’t have the resources to fully dedicate ourselves to the continued development and maintenance of Frontity," Pablo Postigo and Luis Herranz, Frontity Founders.
