Potentia Capital, HarbourVest Partners and KKR-backed Alludo are bidding to acquire Nitro Software for up to $364m.

A consortium of Potentia Capital, a private equity firm, and HarbourVest Partners, an investment firm, and KKR-backed Alludo, a Canadian software company headquartered in Ottawa, are bidding to acquire Nitro Software, a document productivity company, for up to $364m. On October 31, 2022, the board of Nitro Software decided to recommend the $320m offer form Alludo, and reject the offer from Potentia. On February 22, 2023, Potentia Capital raised its takeover offer to $364m.
