Hillhouse, an investment manager, led a $128m Series C funding round in VanMoof, a developer of urban e-bikes intended to help commuters get to work without breaking a sweat. Other investors include Gillian Tans, Norwest Venture Partners, Felix Capital, Balderton Capital, and TriplePoint Capital. “We’re reinventing, redesigning, and re-engineering every component of the bicycle.
