Berkshire Partners-backed FoodChain ID completed the acquisition of Hamilton Grant.

Berkshire Partners-backed FoodChain ID, a provider of technology-enabled food safety, quality, and sustainability solutions, completed the acquisition of Hamilton Grant, a global provider of product development software for the food and beverage industry. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Hamilton Grant is a strong strategic fit with FoodChain ID as it expands our targeted technology services portfolio through complementary software. With their technology platform we are penetrating into recipe management and food development, thereby building on our vision to make it easier for our customers to keep the food supply chain safe and transparent," Brad Riemenapp, FoodChain ID CEO.
