Chubu Electric, a supplier of electricity, gas, and on-site energy, completed the acquisition of a 20% stake in Bitexco Power, an operator of hydropower plants in Vietnam. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Our goal is to expand our overseas business by tapping into the growth of Vietnam's electricity market while contributing to the decarbonisation of Vietnam," Akihide Ito, Chubu Electric General Manager.
